Titanium Jewelry: Needle Only, Never Guns
This is non-negotiable for us. We use implant-grade titanium for all initial piercings. Here’s why that matters:
- Hypoallergenic: titanium is suitable for sensitive skin and people with nickel allergies
- Biocompatible: your body accepts it easily, which means faster and smoother healing
- Durable and lightweight: comfortable to wear during the healing process
We also only use needles, never piercing guns. Guns are designed for earlobe piercings in non-professional settings and cause unnecessary trauma to the tissue. Needles are sharper, cleaner, and result in significantly better healing. Any reputable piercing studio in 2026 uses needles. We do.
Ear Curation: Build Your Perfect Ear
Ear curation (also called ear styling or ear stacking) is one of our most popular services. It’s the art of planning multiple piercings across your ear to create a cohesive, intentional look.
Here’s how it works:
- Consultation: we look at your ear anatomy, discuss the look you want, and plan the placements
- Staged piercings: we may do several piercings in one session, or spread them over time depending on your healing capacity
- Jewelry coordination: we help you select pieces that work together in terms of style, metal finish, and scale
- Follow-up: once healed, we can swap jewelry and refine the look
Whether you want a minimalist stack of three or a fully curated ear with seven piercings, we plan it properly. No guesswork, no uneven placements.
Walk-Ins Welcome for Piercings
Most piercings can be done as a walk-in. Earlobe piercings, helix, tragus, nostril, septum, come in and we’ll take care of you. No appointment needed for the vast majority of what we do.
For more complex piercings or full ear curation sessions, a quick booking in advance is helpful so we can dedicate the right time to you. But if you’re spontaneous, the door is open.
Aftercare: Your Piercing Needs Attention
We include aftercare guidance with every piercing. Here’s the short version:
- Saline solution: spray or soak the piercing 2x daily with sterile saline solution
- Don’t touch it: hands introduce bacteria; leave the piercing alone except for cleaning
- Don’t rotate the jewelry: this is an old myth that damages the healing tissue
- Avoid pools, hot tubs, and natural bodies of water during healing
- Sleep carefully: for ear piercings, use a travel pillow or sleep on the other side
- Be patient: cartilage piercings can take 6-12 months to fully heal
We sell aftercare products in the studio. We’ll also send you home with written aftercare instructions so you don’t have to memorize everything on the spot.
